The shoe molds to your foot and has good cushioning that makes you agile. In addition, the shoe is lightweight and comfortable making it easy to push off and gain speed. The Vapor was co-designed by Federer who wanted to develop a tennis shoe that also had the advantages of a running shoe, such as weight and comfort.
The upper is lightweight textile and the Dynamic Fit technology ensures that the shoe fits snugly around your foot. In the heel is Air Zoom technology, which provides good shock protection and direct, responsive cushioning. The shoe has a padded collar and closed mesh that keeps gravel out to increase comfort.
The outsole is made of XDR. This is durable rubber that is also placed in such a way that the life of the shoe is longer. The tread on the bottom of the sole allows the shoe to be used on smashcourt, hardcourt and gravel courts.
