These stage tennis balls are specially designed for young tennis players. Stage balls are tennis balls with reduced pressure. This makes the ball bounce less hard and slows it down. This gives children more time to prepare and makes it easier for them to learn to play tennis.

There are three types of stage balls:
- Stage 3: these are red balls and are for children aged 4 and up.
- Stage 2: these are orange balls and are for children aged 5 and up.
- Stage 1: these are green balls and are for children aged 8 and up.

The higher the number, the higher the pressure in the ball.
