New Care D3 75mcg contains no sugar, gluten, yeast, lactose, flavors or preservatives. The product is processed in coconut oil for a good absorption of vitamin D3

Vitamin D is mainly produced in our skin under the influence of sunlight, afterwards the liver and kidneys have to convert it into the usable form. The production depends on various factors, such as the climate in which we live, the degree of exposure to sunlight, the use of sunscreens with UV filter, skin pigmentation, the functioning of the liver and kidneys and our age.

Because vitamin D is involved in various vital bodily functions, the Health Council has recommended for several population groups to use extra vitamin D, such as for the elderly, people with a dark skin color, pregnant women, veiled women and children and adults who do not get outside enough. If these groups want to be assured of an adequate intake of vitamin D, a dietary supplement with vitamin D can be used.

Vitamin D increases the absorption of calcium in the bones. In addition, vitamin D is important for the muscles and for the maintenance of strong bones and teeth. Vitamin D also plays a role in the immune system and the natural defenses.

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin and is better absorbed in the presence of (food) fat. Coconut oil has been added to these capsules to positively influence the absorption.

Do not use D3 75mcg in case of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients and for children up to and including 10 years.

Consult an expert first when used in combination with medicines that inhibit calcium excretion and when you have sarcoidosis (Besnier Boeck).

Use during pregnancy and lactation. The Health Council advises pregnant women to take extra vitamin D.
